Hey, gang!
Scooby here, bringing you the poll for our very first book to read. I've done my best to provide a selection that covers various genres and tastes. I've also made sure to keep the options at a reasonable length for the first book; no 1k+ page books yet lol.
I'll leave this poll up for a week and then we'll start the following Sunday(it's the only day I have off every week). As a general rule, we'll do one chapter a week. So, without further ado, make your selection. You get 2 picks.

I'm not a big book guy and I don't know half the books you listed lol but if I had to pick I would definitely go with The Godfather.
Why is there an option that is none?
But if i HAVE to suggest one, dr seuss green eggs and ham.

I tried to pick mix of titles that have been adapted to TV or movies over the years. And the godfather would be a great selection! It's one of the best.

Lol. And I left in an option to write in your suggestion on the off chance that there's some great book we'd all agree on that I just didn't think of. I'm all about democracy.

No, I mean the last option is to "suggest in the thread" so you would vote for that and post your suggestion of Dr Seuss here. Don't think it's gonna win. But who knows. If everyone were to select the "suggest in the thread option" and also post Dr Seuss, then I guess that's what we'd read lol.

Oh alright, just seemed confusing if a few others posted suggestions mine would get drowned out :(

If there are a lot of suggestions and the thread gets congested, I'll make a new poll or something, but I don't see that happening.
And don't worry. I'll remember yours. Maybe we'll do a Dr Seuss week sometime. We can do some deep literary analysis lol.

Just voted for the Stephen King book, heard he's a fantastic author.
Any books by Puzo, the guy was one hell of a writer.

He is, indeed. And as if right now, he is in the lead. Granted, the option to suggest in the thread is tied for the lead, but only Ash has made a suggestion and that was Dr Seuss. So yeah, Godfather is in the lead lol.

Scooby if you could suggest one audiobook to listen to what would it be? i might start listening to them an hour or so before bed.
Hitchikers guide to the galaxy has been on my list for ages now, I really gotta buy this darn book and get to reading it. Your opinions on it?
I've always heard The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I saw a part of the movie. It looked like it was pretty solid.
