Restore Windows Services to Default Startup Settings

I get the utility aspect of having all these scripts, but is there some specific need for each having its own individual thread? I'd be much more opt to use them if they were all packaged into a decently formatted thread with the appropriate download links hyperlinked accordingly. Even though this section isn't nearly as active as it used to be, not that it was all that active back then anyway, cluttering up nearly the first 15 thread slots doesn't seem of much necessity. Not even entirely sure if all these are copy-pasted, either.

I have over 300 batch scripts i cannot post them in one thread some are to large for pasting here at HF. I did post download links to many of my scripts at youtube channel i have link is below if you want to check them out.

Be that as it may, the continued creation of separate threads for each individual script is unnecessary. Like I said, this section doesn't have the activity to validate doing so. No issue with posting the scripts, just compile them into one collection with the appropriate BBcode formatting while keeping it nice and neat. Like so:

Code
[b]Restore Windows Services to Default Startup Settings[/b]
[url=https://pastebin.com/]Link to script[/url]

To upload particularly long the scripts, as you already use Google Drive that's fine. However I personally have used https://pastebin.com/ for uploading scripts and https://github.com/ for larger projects in other languages. Just some suggestions. Pastebin makes things especially lightweight for sharing custom scripts easily, though GitHub isn't far off, either.

That is too much work for me.

You have hundreds of your own Batch scripts yet this is too much work for you? F*ck off, lol. Here's a script to automate formatting in nothing but Batch I mustered up from nothing in three minutes:

Code
@echo off

:input
set /p title=script title:
set /p link=pastebin link:
call :print
goto :input

:print
>>output.txt (
   echo [b]%title%[/b]
   echo [url=%link%]Link to script[/url]
)

If nothing, just compile the links into a single thread. Flooding the recent threads with individual scripts does nothing but clutter the section even more than it is.

You act like i have coded my scripts in a day but what i can do is i can post some of my scripts in a single thread. Oh i just found out Pastebin block in my country.

1) I don't assume that. As I said, again, if anything just compile all of them. Or, hell, post a thread with every five unique scripts. The point I clearly drew out must not seem as I'm intending. Individual threads flood the board and honestly for no good reason, regardless of how fast you create the scripts. Be it less than a day or more than a year. You shouldn't feel obligated to post upon completion every. Single. Script. One. At. A. Time. You post them fairly regularly, yes. But it's not like the existing other threads for other scripts are being drowned out by other members' content.

2) VPNs and proxies exist for that very reason. Convenience aside, which granted it may very well be accessible, Google Drive does allow for multiple file listings, no? Just post a link to the subfolder and call it a day. I get that non-upgraded members aren't given the ability of unlimited editing, but just the link to the drive itself should be good enough. Good God, a single thread saying something along the lines of "I've got a good archive of hundreds of utility scripts that cover a variety of system-specific purposes. Below is the link to the cloud drive which is updated with my newest scripts."

And, not to be condescending, but exactly how much activity are you getting on these? From what I see here on the board, not a whole lot. And even if there were some massive crowd in this section, I can't think of any scenario in which the creation of so many threads would be necessary. The programs can be utilized quite well, I'm not trying to go against you on that, let alone any of your scripts themselves. I'm saying take into account exactly who is going to be taking a gander at said scripts and what goes through their mind when they see the first page of results (normally set to 25, which I don't expect very many people to change from) is composed of threads all by a single member, and they're all just a link and a demonstration video.

You say all that is time consuming, yet you're using up that precious time making every script its own little thread one at a time. Where as that time could be spent doing the very same thing in a much more efficient manner. Oh well, do what you want, I guess. Not like anyone posts all too often in this section nowadays anyways, lol.

You are correct this section is dead that is why we all moved to my Discord server. If you are into programming and batch scripting you can join us.

Oddly enough I don't use Discord. Never quite understood the drive behind it. But in any case, who all's in there?

From what I recall of how they used go about, I find it hard to imagine they support this individual thread thing. But if they approve, so be it. What do I know? Lol.
