Emotional

I feel like quitting on University

I'm not much of a fan of letting out my emotions but I really do not want to quit but right now I'm at a fucking low point with this whole COVID-19 crap. So I hope someone can talk with me and get me through this crap. 🙄
Not worth it..don't do it....
Don't do it man, school is so pointless and you can learn everything 10x better online but that piece of paper you get at the end will help you out in life.
what major are you doing in uni?
Bleh
Not worth it dude, take it from me. I was depressed and shit while I was doing college and I dropped out and it was the worst mistake I ever made. You already have the student loan debt and everything, there's no point in quitting. In 6 months from now your issues now most likely won't even be a thing, and you'll regret putting yourself in the whole with student debt and prolonging the time it'll take to get your degree.

Inactive, I don't sell products anymore. Please do not message me.
Just here to occasionally lurk.

I'm doing my MBA but I got a BBA already.
It's not worth it, the diploma can be useful for you in the end, plus if you regret it later you will just have made it harder for you to finish it or more indebted, an extra diploma is never a bad thing. Maybe take more time to care about yourself and reduce the focus a little, but not giving it up, just doing other things to keep yourself more at ease.

Oh so you already done with initial degree. As far as i know, MBA ain't easy to get. I wish luck tho man keep it up. Nothing comes easy man, either next step will be harder than the previous one, don't let it beat you down.

did you just start the course or about to finish?
Bleh
I've felt like quitting uni too. Ultimately, you gotta do what feels right. But uni is a brilliant backup option for you if other things don't work out as your degree can definitely open doors. And hopefully COVID will be over soon so we can enjoy the social side of uni again.

Normally it's do-able however the work is piled up and we're looking at 15+ exams in 2 weeks. Only last week we learned that we have exams starting tomorrow.
You should definitely do it if you feel like it's not for you. Go back when you're in the right mindset, or don't, whatever you decide later will determine that.
As my opinions on such topics are rarely taken from an alleged "good light", be advised you may not find my outlook suitable for cheering you up.

This COVID bullsh*t will pass sooner or later. Me personally, I say take the masks off and open everything back up. Survival of the fittest. Plus, these riots going on, the media pushing the ideology of "bow down or f*ck off", apparently some groups of people, however sizeable they may really be, want to start Civil War numero dos. With that, I again say "bring it on". Let's get it over with now rather than fight it and fight it day after day without even having the slightest inclination of how it will all end up.

People are different. I have been told I am one of these people with some amount of "psychological resilience". I don't say that for myself, though. For myself, I say I just don't care about a whole lot of things that go on, let alone if I even hear about them. I suggest you do the same. Yeah, I get that's not how it works. You can't just stop caring about something, no one can about anything. But I learned to force myself to ignore pretty well everything.

This rioting thing may be none of your concern, but as with many other people I reckon it is. If the contrary, no worries! As far as quitting university... I might be a college drop-out, but I will say to stick with it. Despite how ridiculous it may be, the world is far more concerned about that piece of paper than you, yourself. You can be the smartest, wisest man in the world. But without that piece of paper you're looked upon as nothing. University is worth it. And why dump your progress now? You've already come this far. What's the point in (essentially) wasting all that time prior? Life f*cking sucks for most everyone right now. Believe it or not, regardless of what people may say, that's the truth. No one likes to admit they're in a bad rut.

Be that as it may, have you not had bad times that have passed in the past? I'm almost certain you did, as did every other human on this planet. Take advantage of what you have right now and get the idea of quitting university out of your head. Finish it, and after that then decide if you choose the right path instead of dump progress now and end up no better off than you were before.

Sh*t's bad right now, everyone knows that. Just gotta deal with it, lol.

Listen to this man in dark times, the positive comes way more up front then the negative.

Its always better to try and fail rather than not even giving it a shot. 🐱‍👤

This.

I ended up dropping out only to return to school. An education will help you on average. Just don't go to some overpriced school and wind up in a ton of debt.

Oh, if you already have the degree I would see what options you have work wise.

What is your degree in if you don't mind me asking?
