Is there a specified amount of time before I should dispute a contract with another member? Couldn’t find anything that said a specified a time length.
It’s been 2 days since I made payment with no contact since. If there isn’t a specified time, how long should I wait? It was only 400$ but, the fact of the matter still stands. I hate a thief.
There isn't a length of time, its whatever you feel is approiate, Has the member been online since last conversing with him?
And personally for me, I would do it a day later at least 12-14 hours after payment was sent and whatever you did wasn't fulfilled.
I think 2 days is more than enough, if someone received $400 from you and hasn't had ANY time at all in the last 2 days to at least contact you and say something came up, then they're probably trying to be a scumbag.

1. Wrong section.
2. There's no "official" time.
It's kinda case by case.
$400 is no low amount, if you feel something phishy or been scammed and the other party is not responding, you have the right to open a DD.

It’s been almost exactly 48 hours since I made payment. I have proof of everything so, I’m not worried. Just was really looking forward to what he was “supposedly” making me.

If i were in your predicament i would file for a dispute, especially if he hasn't given you a time frame on when It will be completed.

Oh, is this what I think it is? I thought you were doing a currency exchange or something.

I apologize for the wrong area post. I didn’t want to offend the other party just in case he is busy with something else but, it just seems phishy that I paid him and he hasn’t been online basically since then.

If it’s with the user who the other guy linked above, you 100% got scammed. The guy who has an open DD with that user ended up paying me to do what that user scammed him for. I saw what the buyer received and everything & yeah. His contract isn't lying, he literally received an empty HTML document with a single <img src=""> with a screenshot of GTA 5 inside of it, and it took him like 5 days to "complete".

Well that’s super unfortunate I suppose. 400$ down the drain I guess.

I'd just go on and create a deal dispute now to prevent him doing the same to other users.

I’m going to wait till I get home to possibly give him some more time and I’m at work and don’t want to upload all the proof via my phone.
