BitRat [Tor Hidden Service Tutorial]

Well, as some people may have noticed there's a new rat here on our wonderful forum, and I'm bored and thought I'd be helpful, so I'm making this for everyone who's curious, and to save the dev some time from explaining this to every single customer who wants to know.

Obviously, start off by opening the rat
Right click anywhere on the rats UI and go to settings

once your in settings obviously start the tor port
https://prnt.sc/syrzy8 Click both boxes highlighted in red (Make sure to start the port once again)

Once you've done that, enter a service name and click start, autostart is outlined in blue, as it is optional.
https://prnt.sc/sys37j, copy your generated hostname, and click save.

Next we go to the builder, once again we right click and open the builder.
Once we're in the builder, enter in the following necessary information, set your settings.
https://prnt.sc/sys53c Make sure to tick the tor connection setting!

the port is automatically set to 80, enter the password YOU set in YOUR settings.

That should be it, if you have any issues let me know.

Update: No, I hold no affiliation with the developer of BitRat. I made this because I was simply bored and thought of productive ways to spend my time.
very useful for many guys.

So this completely eliminates having to use a DNS and like No-IP for example and port forwarding a VPN? So if I built the client using the Tor service the only thing I would really need would be a crypter, no need for a DNS and VPN?

to my understanding yes.

Like Kayfox 2.0 say - the short answer is yes.

You can use your IP or DNS when using Tor. Not only .onion (hidden service).
If you want to use your IP or DNS for Tor then you must also forward the Tor port in settings.

If you want to use the .onion address then no port forward is needed, not VPN and no DNS. You can use VPN if you want but not needed.

.onion (hidden service) is much safer then Tor with DNS/IP but is also slower.

BitRat doesn't have a startup method right?

Of course there is startup. Choose install when building and hidden startup is added automatically
