Hello. I'm an individual programmer whose passion is computer security. Thus, I've spent about 1 year and 5 months to build a real antivirus in VB.NET.
Description:
Clean and neatly-structured user interface
The application features an intuitive and straightforward appearance, its looks making it accessible for novices as well as more experienced individuals.
The main window allows you to see a quick overview of the current computer security status and also easily perform virus database update and scan of the computer.
The software allows you to scan the computer through 3 different types: "Quick scan" , "Ultra scan" and "Custom scan". Scanning process is fast and does NOT slow down the performance of the computer.
Analyze your computer for threats while also enhancing its performance
The software performs automatic check-up of the computer through its real-time detection algorithm ,identifying the existence of any danger and helping you remove it, if encountered.
From the ‘Protection’ section of ContraVir Antivirus, you can easily enable or disable the real-time security protection to meet your specific needs and requirements.

In summary, ContraVir Antivirus proves to be a useful and main purpose consists of preventing your system from becoming infected with outside threats, also cleaning the ones it finds on your PC. The software starts in minimized mode automatically with the operating system to reduce interruptions and slowdowns. Lowest CPU usage rate, best performance and modern user GUI.
Additional tools and Utilities
ContraVir Antivirus contains several useful utilities and tools, which allow the user to diagnose and fix common PC problems, which malware and viruses usually disable. This includes tools to re-enable the Command Prompt, the Registry Editor, the Task Manager, the Folder Options or to restore Internet Explorer's home page.
Startup Manager - The software has been engineered to provide the user a simple, yet, useful personal startup manager utility, which the user can quickly add/remove a program from starting with the Windows.
Personal task manager - The software also contains a detailed task manager, which shows the user current running processes, along with more detailed process information and the CPU usage in real-time. Here can you also add or close a process.
FileDeleter - Easily choose a file which you want to be deleted and in one-click action, the software will permanently delete it from your PC.

The software also allows you to export scan logs to a text file for further analysis.
