This is something that annoys me so much.

Take Borderlands 3 for example. I use the multiplayer function to join PUBLIC OPEN rooms to which I get instantly kicked and the room owners DM me asking why the fuck I joined...

when me and my mate got the forest we'd go into random lobbies bc playing as 2 was boring as hell, we'd join and they'd all be like wtf whos there and act all pissed. Like there isn't a make private option or something.

If you join a 3 premade, other than being a suicide and a waste of time, you already know you're not going to have a good match from a comms standpoint

Eh I disagree most 3s playing fill come to game chat if you have a mic. Plus ping commands work great in Fortnite imo

Well thats something CS:GO did right. Dunno how it got so popular there but it's players use the ingame talking even when they are in Discord with their friends to communicate with the rest of the team.

Anytime I've joined a premade, they've always come to in-game comms, and I've always done the same when it's me on the other end. I've met some of my closest internet friends this way. They just happened to join us, we had a good time, and invited them back.

Lmao sometimes you just gotta get it out, I understand u my man. It's true though, when I join a lobby in LoL it's the same shit. You could've made a private lobby and sent your friends the keyword but instead you kick every person that's joining your PUBLIC lobby.

I don't play games which feature such lobbies. Still, I've experienced this a lot in the early Call of Duty-days with servers, where I would get kicked by the server owner the second I was in-game. They'd put something in the server info box about who can join and not, but they wouldn't dare to take the time to configure a password, mod, or anything.

Don't make a public server or lobby if you don't want strangers to join.
