If I am not mistaken (I might be wrong) there's some pretty trusted middle mans on HF that don't charge any fees, so it's best to do it that way than getting scammed or not doing the deal at all.

I think our choices here having low B-rating, are either to deal only with very trusted members or use a middle man as people won't trust you, which is fair enough.

You want to build your rep so later on this type of things don't happen, just my advice. ✌

The problem is, while you may genuinely feel that way, that is the kind of thing a typical scammer would say. Pressure tactics and such. At least use a middleman until you’ve established a bit more marketplace feedback...

And that’s your prerogative. But you do only have 3 marketplace ratings, like myself and many other members. I just don’t think you can dismiss a middleman service and say it’s not worth the time. If it’s a trusted middleman or even better an official service like Escrow, then it can only give you more security and thus less chance of problems or disputes.

I understand what you're saying is but I'd rather build my rep by doing deals with people worth doing deals with. I'll use a middleman when its worth it. I'll go first when i can trust the other person.
