I always use a VPN but when I'm on HF I have noticed some IPs are completely blacklisted, what's up with this?

I accidentally select the wrong VPN connection and see this frequently.

Is it possible I will be banned if I access HF from bad connections too often?

I've done this two-three times now and my account seems fine, just may seem sketchy that these addresses are blocked and I logged in from that IP so I'm not sure if this is an issue or not

I think it's fine, not sure completely though, but I've also seen that message quite a lot as well on times I forget to turn off my VPN.

you have to test many ips of your vpn and find one which works..

the site will just block you, i don't believe anything will happen to your account.

Use privacy pass so once you solved you didn't get captcha for sometime !

Guess Omni has blocked few country IPs on purpose.

Maybe the IP your get sometimes has been use before with someone who has banned in HF.

Not sure how it is now, but earlier I think certain ports was blocked. This might also be something I have dreamt.

I don't trust this unless you are using a private access VPN (Non Shared).
Most paid VPN's allow other members to connect to the same server you are connecting to. (Shared Access)
If someone else on the forum is using the same connection you are, then you might be flagged as a multi.
I'd rather take my chances on my home connection, or buy a server and configure openvpn.

I reckon it's for trust scan, I remember some time ago, someone posted a trust scan image of someone having matching IP's with at least another thousand members.

there's also a thing with multi's, most threatening would be active scammers, using VPNs to repeat the offense.

Right now I'm not using VPN, is it okay to use VPN while logging in HF? As I know HF's logs the IP we use.

Not every match is a malicious match. We are well aware of the VPNs.

To answer your question, OP, nothing will happen to your account but we can't guarantee that 100%. I don't see why anyone would use a VPN to access HF but okay. If it's for privacy, think again, you get zero privacy with a VPN other than having your IP masked. That's all.

Yea that's kinda my whole deal right now, I use VPNs for everything.

Wow, that is kind of ridiculous, It makes sense in a way, but doesn't in the same way.

I believe so, same country on other Ip is fine, but like 3 blocked me
