Why a seller doesnt wanna use a MM?

Hey guys,

i had 3 possible deals here for my searching.

But no one of the sellers agreed to use a MM.

I read the Help Docs. And I cancelled the deals.

And for safety of seller and buyer the using of mm service should be the best way.

Why the sellers don’t want to use a Middleman? Where is the problem?

Yes, I am a Noob. But I only wanna make safe deals.

What the older members are thinking about?

Thank you for your opinions.

And: my English is not the best. I am not a native speaker. And had not a lot of practice the last years. I do my best 😅😉
Might be scammers, might not wanna go through that whole process. Who are they? Are they actually reputable members?
I would think twice is he/she don't want to use a MM. Usually, this is a red flag. I believe you have to go first, too, isn't it?
2 are reputable members I think.

One was a scammer and is banned now. I think he made an exit scam and made a lot of money.

But everyone will change to discord to talk about the deal details.

And for a reputable member it should be no problem to go the safe way for both sides.

No matter if it’s a deal with $5 or $1000. or I’m fully wrong?

I can’t understand.

Personally if they won’t use a MM it’s a major red
Flag, that being said they can also see it as a waste of time cause then you have another member involved. I personally wouldn’t deal with someone who refuses a MM but I also don’t do large enough deals where I think it’s necessary
Personally I never use middlemen. I'll use the contract system here or just be extremely cautious with who I deal with if it's offsite. I personally feel like a lot of the time middlemen are pointless or it adds another person into the deal who might scam. Back in the day (not on this forum), there used to be middlemen who were trusted who did $100 - $500 deals no problem, but then they'd get trusted for $10,000 for an instagram username and they'd run off with the $10,000 and the instagram account, so in my eyes it just adds a whole other risk. Not sure if others feel the same way though.

I also feel skeptical doing middlemen on sites I'm new to because I feel like the middlemen are always just the seller's friends who would let them scam if they wanted to.
Inactive, I don't sell products anymore. Please do not message me.
Just here to occasionally lurk.

Yes I should pay at first... and e.g. $500 is a lot of money for me. And hard earned money.

You are about to get scammed. Step out while you can.

No offence intended but let me ask you this, "would you consider yourself reputable"? I think every seller is entitled to HOW they prefer to do business regardless. Some deals require you to purchase stuffs in order to get started on a job. Others are so so petty, you just goto ask yourself, why tf would you require an mm? Take for instance a deal worth of $50. I mean, isn't the contract system reliable enough to hold that in terms of proof(in case of a deal gone bad)?? My point being, to conclude that s/he is a scammer isn't always true. Check out some sales thread t.o.s and you would flip.

OT: OP, using mm is considered by many the safest way to do deals. Agreed. But again, some deals are too blackhat such that, a few sellers(even buyers) would not consider it comfortable to be discussed on here nor for a third party to be in the know. My advise? Do your own research before you hire anyone. My 2 cent.

The commitments are all cancelled.

My question for your opinions was universally.
Depends. I mean, huge red flag, but also, how much is the deal? If it's for a small amount of bucks, I wouldn't use a MM either, if it's with a user that looks trusted and such.

Well, this is my opinion. I can tell you that I used KillJoy as a MM in the past and I had 0 issues with him.
I'm not sure if he is still doing it.
But I can tell you for sure that if someone is avoiding a MM, I personally wouldn't deal with him.
But, again, it's just me.
using a MM is still about trust, if someone comes to me wanting to use a MM that i've never heard of before i would absolutely say no, it's a pretty common scam for the MM to be in on it(it's usually just the buyer/seller pretending to be another person)

Your OT could be a reason. With blackhat 🤔 I mean.

I wouldn’t assume someone to be a scammer.

But I couldn’t get a proof, this is not a good feeling for me.

Contracts were possible with all members I talked about.

But one of them made Exit Scam last weekend - with contracts...

Because of the amount is probably not worth the middle man headache also the mm must be from this site and trusted i've seen so many people try to bring other mm they "know" i rather take my chance in a 1 on 1 deal that extra party makes everything more complicated.
