So I never really dealt much with account cracking, at least on a mass scale. It seems like a stepping stone most people take when learning hacking and it's definitely one I've overlooked. I used to hear about people cracking bunches of netflix, hulu, spotify, etc. The only tool that sticks out in my mind is SentryMBA. First off, is cracking still relevant? I know web application security has advanced some. Captures, etc. And if its still a legitimate practice, is Sentry still being used? What other tools are used the most? I have both Linux and Windows platforms available so I'm not limited to compatibility. Thanks 🙂

Sentry MBA has only 1 issue, it cant authenticate to TLS servers, other than that its a great cracker and highly configureable, I recommend it to anybody. I personally use Sentry MBA from time to time. It's not hard to find a clean version.

Basically it means it cant connect to HTTPS on some servers.
