It's because their avatar doesn't exist and directs to a 404 page, resulting in the template from breaking due to no image being loaded on their profiles.

Notice how neither example have an image for an avatar?

It's helpful to include profile links to users / pages where you're seeing something weird to quickly identify issues like this.
