Hey everyone. I noticed a tutorial posted that was very similar to this once. It pissed me off since this style is of my own design, so I decided to make my own tutorial for it.
Well lets get started!
Well lets get started!
What you will need
***** Photoshop (I'm using CS5)
***** Vectors http://dragonartz.wordpress.com/2009/09/...ns-vector/
Instructions
***** Open up photoshop. Go to File>New and use these settings.

***** Now, in the middle of your canvas, use your text tool with about 60+px size. Write any text that you want. (For this tutorial I will be using "Livewire" as my text)
***** Once you have the text typed, go to the layer properties and set them as such (NOTE: Animated GIF):

(For the pattern, just use any type of scanlines. Just whatever looks nice.)
***** You should now have something that looks like this:

***** Now, you're going to need to make this text 3D! This is how you do that.
- Right click on the layer with the text, and choose 'Duplicate layer'
- Move the layer that is on top about 4-5 places to the right.
(Do this by tapping the right arrow button)
***** You will now have something that looks similar to this:

***** Now it's time to add the vectors in.
This is the pretty easy part. Just drag-n-drop the images onto photoshop, resize them accordingly, and place them where they look nice. There's not really a way I can explain it other than to use what feels right to you. Try to stick with using the same color groups though, or else it will look weird.
Here's the kind of end result you are looking for:

I have made this type of signature for many people. The only reason that I am posting this tutorial is because I found a tutorial on this and I figured I'd be able to explain the method better since the other tutorial just pretty much stole my style. It's cool though.
