I was doing a biological survey at a popular beach that's normally closed because of the pandemic and I ended up finding a gold/diamond ring buried deep in an underwater cave. It was in around 40' of water and went in at least 15' - 20' which is where I found it. I brought it to the lost and found staff and they looked in their database and were able to find the guy almost immediately. We talked to him on the phone and it turns out to be his wedding ring that he lost while he was there on a trip 1 full year ago.

Definitely wouldn't be hard to find a way to make money from it though
Man I would defo keep that shit.
Wow you have a good heart, it's good to know that there are still good people in this world.
Well. Good on you for bein a saint.
That's quite impressive, a lot of people would have done the greedy move of taking it for themselves. Hopefully your good karma returns itself.

He was pretty blown away, he definitely didn't think he'd ever find it again.
Good on you for returning it ✌

I would be too, one full year after you lost it, what are the chances?
