So as the title suggests, I'm curious as to what the members of this community's favorite music genre is, and why they feel that it is their favorite.


Personally my favorite is Rap / Hip-Hop.
I grew up listening to this type of music in my hometown. The population was split fairly evenly in terms of racial diversity, but the part of town I was from was the opposite race. It grew on me and although I like rock, alternative rock, metal, some R&B, and those sorts.. rap just became a part of me.

For me it’s hip hop and rap, there’s so many different styles and essentially sub genres that you can find artist or songs for literally any mood/feeling/activity.
They incorporate so many different elements, instruments, vocals i love it.

That's prime examples of why I enjoy rap and hip hop so much.

I can’t really say specifically what my favorite genre is. I guess it just depends on my mood.

I usually tend to listen to Rap/Hip-Hop, EDM, ‘90’s and early 00’s rock.

I honestly love a bunch of different genres and sub genres so it's really hard for me to pick and choose or even list my favorites in order.

I love Blues, Hip-hop, Rap. That doesn't mean I don't listen to other music. I usually love all the music that inspires me.
