Yes - We went into lockdown yesterday.

Kinda sucks as I was due to go to Amsterdam in 7 days and now have to stay here!

Exchanged all my Euros too, so will loose money changing them all back!

I don't think it will make a huge difference for you, as basically, the Netherlands went into a lockdown too, with restrictions adding up quickly. Amsterdam is also one of the worst places to be currently, looking at the number of positive test results.

Basically, we are in a "partial" lockdown here. Almost everything is closed (theatres, clubs, restaurants), the maximum amount of people who can get together is extremely small, and travel is a pain.

That's horrible. My sincere condolences for your loss. Not sure where you are from, but what are the limits on the number of people who can visit the funeral?

I'm free England, its a 30 limit which isn't too bad. But not we can even drink to celebrate his life as you cannot meet with people outside your household!

Oh yeah, that sounds about the same here. It's weird that youare allowed to get together for the funeral, but not a small celebration of life afterward. The whole corona situation is so weird and skewed.

US isn't Federally enforcing a quarantine. All of that falls under the states and local area, currently mine goes on and off for any non essential businesses.
