Java

My first open source project

I've been working on my first open source java library and I've finished it! It took me around 3 weeks to make it.

It's a library that makes it easy to access Spotify's Web API and fetch all sorts of data within minutes.

You can find the library here

I've also tried to write some documentation to explain how to use this library.

Please check it out. I'm a third year university student, so I'm still learning, so any feedback is welcome!
Interesting Project gonna bookmark for future use

Yeah that's me. I've been trying to promote my library on sites I frequent or used to frequent on haha. I used to frequent HackForums a lot when I was younger, like when I was between 13-16 years old. And yeah I did some dumb stuff when I was young with RATs and shit.

EDIT: thanks for reminding me I made those posts, it's kinda funny reading it when I'm older now. Kinda embarassing but still funny.

🤣

I have plenty of posts around the web I cringe at. Thankfully most of the sites I posted on are defunct.

Yeah, same. But still a lot are still there haha.

And I just noticed you mentioning amihaiemil's advice. I want to do that some time in the future, but I still have a lot of issues open that I want to do first, see the issues on GitHub.

And rebuilding the SpotifyApi completely will also be a whole new major release so that'll take some time.
I have a nasty refactoring itch in most of my projects. I'll finish doing things one way to realize it can be improved if I change the core design.

I like that stage of development so its an itch I'm willing to scratch when I have the time :)

Edit: 2 hakumon eggs in this post 🤔
