How to monetize chrome extension?

Paid extensions are not allowed on the webstore anymore, but in-app purchases are still allowed. What is the most common way of doing this? I've come across an interesting niche that has potential for thousands of $5/month subscriptions. How is this handled these days?
What's the size of your user base?
I have access to about 40,000, and this is just in English speaking countries. The next best tool costs $800. But mine is a severely limited version of it, but enough for a big portion of people to reach more productivity. The ROI is there.
Well with that many users you could easily sell it.
I have some neat ways to monetize this, but it requires a significant amount of development.
I was just thinking of a monthly fee of like $5. Could just put some dumb stripe integration as a lambda function on AWS and simply check if the user's email associated with the chrome account is in a database and allow/disallow access depending on it.
That makes the most sense if it's a legit business. Just offer them pro functionality and let them buy a product-key.
Check out other extension that do the same and download them using crx viewer to check their source.
Just make it as user friendly as possible.

It's all legit. Didn't know about CRX viewer, thanks! Although I guess most of the payment processing goes on in some remote server.
Your best bet is using the Stripe API on your domain, then in the chrome extension open a page in browser with you domain where they can get a product key.
As mentioned before, simply check out other sources.
One of my teams is using Stripe and it's been the easiest solution for us by far - I would check out their API docs and google some implementations if you need it, should have everything u needs.

DM me i can really help with this.
I think you can create a extension that allows users to sign in. You can setup subscription logins for $5/month or so

GL and ill be interested in more details if you're willing to share or maybe partner up
I buy Amazon Gift Cards & Crypto for CashApp. PM me if you're selling
