1st 3D Spinning Text

I made this render using a 3D render of my name and then using keyframes I made it spin and set up lighting then converted it to a GIF to show you here. I know it's not much but its a start to my 3D modeling journey haha

Pretty cool bro, looks like a good start
Really nice n clean ...but... reminds me of the good old screensavers from back in the days. Some background etc could be nice there depending on what you want to use it for :3

Not sure what I wanted to use it for just kinda made it out of boredom
What 3D program do you use?

You should check out Octane Render (or other renders).
It has a different way of processing lighting in the scene.
Which provides a realistic render of your 3D scene.

I’m using blender and maya mainly because they are open source and free

Ah nice, yea this tool isn't free, but they have a trial version you can check out.
I really recommend learning lighting setups, this really can make or break your scene

The gradient could be lighter and I feel like the text could have more defined lines.

But it’s still clean man good job!

it's actually a solid color the Gradient you are seeing is from how I rendered the lighting using Spot Lamps
Try slowing down a little bit the movement, it would look much better! :P
