For a high-end gaming rig, should I get a Ryzen 5800X or Core 19 11900K?

I heard that the 19 11900K is faster in apps but is slightly slower than the Ryzen in games.

been a follower of Intel but I guess Ryzen is worth the money invested. I'd go for Ryzen 5900x instead of 5800x though.

Yeah, I had the same issue as you, but I ended up getting the 5900x when I was a pure intel user for years. I am very happy with it. Now just need a 3080 or something to pair with it.

if the 11900k is faster single core wise you will have better gaming performance since there aren't really many games that leverage all cores, especially efficiently

I have a 5800x and I love it, it's very OP.

Inactive, I don't sell products anymore. Please do not message me.
