Bytes prices go up and down every day and they don't have a fixed price. Therefore they can be worth less than $1 one day and it will break the $1 rule.

I'd say we should have a minimum of 500 bytes. That isn't so easy to obtain and you can buy for a dollar or so.

Wouldn't that make it official that bytes are a currency with fixed value tho (even if it's only for NFA) and not just a forum reward system?

Also, for example, if someone goes to buy 500 bytes for $1, why not just skip that step and use the $1 to buy the NFA, save the time to buy the bytes then buy the NFA, and saves the tx fees spent to buy the bytes.

Last December/January, we have seen the market price for bytes went down to $2/1k. Also, 2 years ago when for a short time, the price went down to about $0.1/1k.

I like the idea of allowing bytes to be used with NFA, but I don't know if it can actually be applied without having problems with it.

I would say just have the minimum price in bytes be whatever the going market value for $1 of bytes is at the time. It's kind of similar to buying NFAs in bitcoin. Sometimes that $1 of bitcoin isn't worth $1 anymore and sometimes it's worth more.

Of course, it's up to Omni, this is just my take on it.
