Been using this for quite a while now, as a way of bypassing alerts when downloading executables in Chrome rather than disguising executables as legitimate files. Google will patch this very soon.

So how is this useful as a spreading technique exactly? Even though it downloads the file what would possess the person to execute it?

what if i had shared a legit xmr miner or a gaming cheat and used same downloadlink. then later change it to a binded version( binded with my rat or virus etc ) and henceforth further downloads has your virus in it. of course users will read your file is clean at first few days you did not update the version.
