Can I hack a PC like this?

Hi there,
I am a newbie here, and I want to learn more about hacking and stuff.

I need to hack into a PC so I can collect some information.

I can enter a USB flash drive into it; let's say I can use the USB flash drive to get his IP or/and mac address, so I can access that Pc from home.

If what I think is possible is wrong, please suggest what can I do instead.
do yourself a favor, and everyone else here, just go download a rat, put it in a usb drive and just click on it. If you have enough time to put a usb drive into someones pc you have time to click the exe inside it.

Ignore the other user; what you are asking is indeed possible. It is called Arduino exploitation.

How Arduino exploitation works is that the USB uses an Arduino chipset - Arduino is the programming language that the hardware uses on your computer such as the keyboard. When this Arduino USB device is inserted into the computer it runs a code from the chipset that enables the USB to hijack the keyboard. Then it runs a Ducky script or Arduino script from the USB drive telling it to open Powershell and run a download and execute command to download your RAT/keylogger/worm/malware and execute it.

The USB Rubber Ducky is the original but they are way too overpriced. The best option is to buy a BadUSB/USB Beetle from eBay for cheap as from China and use that + the Arduino payload script you want to use
Use a rubber ducky from Hak5 and install malware on the computer. Only do this if you have legal permission from the owner of the computer and network and it follows ISP guidelines.
