Finally, the moment I've been waiting for during the past 2 years.... got my volunteer uniform!

Regardless of so many different views on whether the Olympics should happen or not, I have to say, getting a full clothing set (not sure if I can write exact details yet as I haven't finished reading the ToS) feels nice, less things to buy for summer 🙃

Now I'm actually wondering, how many others use clothes they get at volunteer or other events as your everyday clothing??

P.S: according to the prepaid card they issued to me, my new name is "FIELD CAST" and no idea why it's all capitalized... too bad it's only valid till the end of this year.

I volunteered for Technology team thinking that I'd be doing something fun, only couple months ago the role details were announced.... essentially fucking score entries =,="
There might be some more to do, but nothing in concrete details yet, training is supposedly 1 week before the games.

Slowly decline but not that much, emergency state will be lifted soon, and most likely it will be held without offline spectators.
Far as I know, only 65yo+ have been vacinated, at least in my area I can't reserve me vaccination dates yet.

Clothing provided to volunteers at events, I got a whole set of shoes, socks, pants (transformable to shorts), shirt, jacket, mask, hat, and a reusable water bottle.

It really depends on the event, sometimes they give other items like pens or notebooks.
I actually have a notebook of GlobalGameJam2018, and NASA Space App competition T-Shirt (probably 2018 as well, can't remember).
