Interestingly, for English justice, the professor Wright is the real creator of bitcoin. So expect him to declare the 1.1 million Bitcoin he mined and apparently owns, and pay the corresponding tax to the English state as next step :)
Such bullshit. The guy is a menace. He is clearly not the creator of Bitcoin.

btw, still on Bitcoin.org.

It will only be removed for UK people
Really sad to see this. It's a threat for the crypto market in the short-term.

Intresting. What do u guys think is going to happen next?
This is actually good stuff, in the future history books you'll see how the legality in this world has been morphed and lobbied so crookedly.

ggwp, onto decentralization.

Interesting point - jurisdiction is a funny one in this day and age of globalization.

It is a threat. He might use this in a US Court as proof he is Satoshi and owns Bitcoin copyright. The US has sometimes respected a foreign ruling for intellectual property.
Meh ... no ... double Meh

what is the worst that he can do with the copyright?? can he actually "erase" BTC or something similar with the copyright?

I'm genuinely curious

Most importantly Bitcoin becomes less decentralized. Having a figure like him makes BTC less trusted.
That's why the real Satoshi possibly left.
