I was wondering what good dividend stocks you guys are investing in? I was looking into AT&T for their high dividend yield but I wasn't sure. Right now I only have about $500 in Chevron. As I did research on it they are known to have a higher dividend yield compared to their competitors and they also seem to rely on their dividend payouts to mainly keep their shareholders happy.

All of our actions are designed consistent with our financial priorities. The first is to sustain and grow the dividend. We showed our stress test last quarter at $30 [crude oil prices] that I think was made very clear that we have the financial capability and the flexibility in our capital program, the ability to manage our costs to sustain that dividend through what is a stress test. - https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/09/0...y-chevron/

My coworker had mentioned investing in IBM and I was thinking Apple as well. I was also looking at a few other choices like Prospect Capital Corporation and American Finance Trust that I saw on Google that offered good yields but I haven't done enough research on them to decide to invest or not on them.
Any FANG companies usually give good dividends. I bought a FANG ETF recently. Good dividend.

What's the dividend/yield?
-- wait the ticker FANG or do you mean like Facebook, Apple, Google, etc?

They don't though. Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google don't pay a dividend at all. Apple's mere $0.22 on a $140 share price isn't a good dividend.
Any dividend you are getting from the ETF you picked are not from the majority shares.
SCHD and DVY would be two far superior ETFs if you want dividends.

No they don't. Most don't pay a dividend at all.
And which FAANG ETF are you talking about? It's 2 A's btw: Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google

Here is a quick screen I ran looking for high yield div stocks. Basically just looking for qualified companies that provide the highest dividend yield within each industry. I have done zero digging into the companies within this screener.

Great post and answer
$ATT and $NLY, yields 7-10%
Just invest in strong performing reits. Housing is about to go crazy.
I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.
I went with vanguards VYM ETF
1. Royal Dutch Shell
2. Exxon Mobil
3. AT&T
4. Ford
5. Ko
If you want big dividend yields you should buy petrol companies. For example shell has 10% yield.
It really depends on your style of investing.
3-4% div stocks are kind of different from 7-10% div stocks
I post all my trades and alpha on Twitter. @SlayerXBT
I ended up selling my AT&T shares and I bought PG instead (Proctor & Gamble). The dividend constantly increases per year and it's a pretty steady ride. Goes up a few bucks one day, drops a couple of cents or a dollar the next, then goes up a few more bucks. Hoping to increase the number of shares I have with this company in the coming months.
I also invested in Coca-Cola (KO), just a little bit. It hasn't been going great in terms of my overall return but these are more long-term holdings so I'm just going to ride it out. I doubt Coke is going to go away anytime soon, especially because they do more than just the soda.
I am still looking at more companies to invest in.
My top dividend stocks are:
$O , $GAIN, $BST, $STAG, $SPHD, $LTC and $LAND.
AT&T baby! My favorite.
Generally, will always give a nice dividend.
Always PM/Convo me before attempting to communicate with me off-site.
Enjoy your day.
