So I'm quite curious what people think about this. Especially with the group of people who don't want kids growing every year. I know some users here already have kids, and please, feel free to contribute too.
As for me, I for sure want to have kids. This thread actually popped up in my head when I saw a mom pass on the streets today, with 2 kids in the cargo bike, just simply waving all around them with smiles on their faces. I can't imagine the things I would miss out on if I wouldn't have kids.
Preferably I'd have 2 boys, or with the oldest being a boy. I think I'd be way too defensive if I had daughters. Not that I would be any less happy to have daughters.
I sure want kids one day, but I feel like I want to do so much more before I have a kid or two.
My parents made me when they were 27, respectively 30. Not a bad age, but they were not rich and whenever they travelled somewhere, they took the baby with them and stuff like that.
That's not really my thing. I'm only 21 now, but still, I feel like I have so many more things to experience with my gf as a couple. Lowkey it would be cool to have a kid at age 23-24, since you are a very young parent and it's cool, but idk, not for me.
Yes of course! I want to have many offspring, perhaps even a dozen!
i dont really at all have zero interest kids seem annoying AF to me especially the ones these days

Yeah but that’s more about the parents than the kids themselves
I would like to have 1-2 kids and me and my girl are thinking about it, she’s ready, I’m still a little nervous, maybe because it will be me admitting to myself that I’m not a kid myself anymore

That's a solid yes, already got a 7mo boy tho who's gonna be a big (tall) boy, at least according to all charts n shit. Want a 2nd kid too tho so that they are never alone. As you said, I would also be way too defensive and protective if it would have been a girl. That being said, I also do respect those who don't want kids. The world is slowly going to hell so why bring more people in to the world...right... The way I see that is that I at least try to push for a change in the right direction with all this "go green" stuff. Building a house soon-ish and I plan to produce enough electricity to share with at least one or two neighbors just because I can (and also because it costs like almost 0.28€/kWh here).
Don't want kids, don't see any form of interest. Don't even have enough time for me so how I would be able to give them the time and the attention they need.
Often annoyed by my friends because I'm single and "they feel sad and sorry" for me because I'm alone 🥱 My father also often talk to me about being married, and having kids.
When I go back to home after the office, I just do what I want to do, and that's how I'm feeling good ✌

I liked it That’s not a bad thing, as long as your happy, I think my main worries is 1. I like the freedom I have now and 2. It’s a lot of responsibility having kids and I would be nervous I wouldn’t be a good parent and fuck the kid up somehow. I feel a lot of people these days are leaning to the no kids life which will be great for the environment

it all depends on the education you gift them, and education starts at home.. be the change you want to see.
Eventually...
I don't know when that will be though.
My entire life I always said I never wanted kids. Now I'm getting a bit older and the idea of having a son or daughter is crossing my mind more and more. Of course I need to find the right woman first... But yes, eventually.
