What internet speeds do you have? I finally had a fiber line installed in my town.

Were you automatically upgraded to the fiber line or did you have to pay an increase?

1000MB UP/Down. Fiber connection.

Only 40 Mbps because I currently am just usually a wireless dongle.

I don't really care too much because I don't competitively game or anything. I don't play much games at all actually.

Super jealous of that, I could definitely use it but it’s impossible to get it where I live.. in the woods.
Staff will never reach out to you off-site. We only communicate on HF.
I'm supposed to get something like 300mb/s down and 100mb/s up but my ISP throttled my upload speed to 30mb/s because apparently they don't like you hosting servers from your home.

The internet you posted sounds good too. I would image you don't have many issues with it

These speeds are good as well.
I can't image anything being too limited by the internet.
Getting fiber was a nice upgrade for me as well.

I can go up to 500mbps or even 1gbps but why I need so fast internet? 😁
500mbs internet package, yet get absolutely nowhere near that considering how many people game and stream in my house.
Where I live, it's pretty shitty for all providers so I only get about 60mbs. I'm hopeful though that they'll improve and upgrade the general area soon, so maybe this time next year I'll have something good.

I think that's still above the national average and would still allow you to do p. much everything easily.
I used to buffer if two or more people were streaming video, so getting fiber was a huge upgrade for me.

wish Comcast offered symmetrical speeds :s

That download is insane. Do you have fiber or copper cable?
I remember I could get about 900 with the copper cable and about 40 upload, a few years ago.

First time in my life since I've had download speed over 50mbps.

I know the feeling. I never had real access to decent internet at a reasonable price before this.
It's just super nice to not have to worry about internet speeds when doing stuff.
Around 800 download and 100 upload speed

That's decent. I can only see you running into issues when you are uploading large files, and even then 100 up isn't terrible.

yeah dont really upload much so that doesent bother me
I would like to switch to fiber, but last I checked they didn't have the wires ran in my area or were redoing them, idk.

I pay for higher speeds with my ISP 200-300UP and the upload is usually always bad. (30-50)

DEAL ONLY ON SITE, I DO NOT DEAL ON DISCORD.

My speeds are alright. I want Google Fiber but it is not offered in my area.

I hear you. I was lucky enough to have a line put in my town not too long ago. Hopefully the same happens to you soon.
