The change is nice, I'm able to download updates way faster. Things that used to take an hour+ now take a few minutes.

I've had gigabit internet at home for a long time now. Been fortunate in that connectivity has never been an issue where we've lived. It's actually a shock to me any time I end up somewhere with markedly slower speeds.

Fiber is awesome. Back when I used to live with my mother, we only had the old connection (even though fiber was in the house, my mom just didn't want to change it). Once I went on my own, I directly ordered one of the quickest fiber connections.



And this is over WiFi, not even cable.

That's not bad. That will do for most stuff, just slightly longer downloads.
