Damn a simple domain goes from being $10 USD to $250 ETH

I can see this being beneficial for projects and apps that use Ethereum platform and NFT creators but outside of that?

Seems very impractical to "mint" a domain for $250+

Is this a joke? Applications on ethereum are not usable right now, the fees are ridiculous.

The airdrop was nice as you bagged around 1500$-2500$/domain(wallet). But the fee for claiming and transferring the token alone costs like 150$.

USD value is very nice, but relatively looking you only get 10x the cost of transfer fee.

And? You still received a free "dividend". You have until May 2022 to claim the drop, so just wait for gas fees to go down.
