I think this ability should at least be controlled with a "who can view your portfolio statistics" option in user cp.

I think its kinda like cheating or advantage if I can see everyone's stats and portfolio values.

It's not cheating, you're right.. But people can change the way they play and potentially get am advantage if they figure out who's got the top portfolios
