Yeah, I can be a soft fucker. But, I just love some good classic love stories in a series or movie(s). So I wondered what your favorite shows are based on lead character love stories?
Probably the most common one is Ross and Rachel from Friends. But, fuck Friends. Certainly not on my list.
1. Scrubs (just the fucking best show ever)
2. Chuck (can't wait if they ever bring out a story closing movie)
3. Twilight (fuck all of you, Twilight is a good love story)
4. New Girl (currently at season 2, but I just fucking love it already)
5. The Witcher (fuck yeah season 2)

No judgement here dude. Those specific ones never really pulled me in storywise, but when it comes to "shameful shit" I went from Totally Spies to Shadowhunters.

Yeah man it's sometimes a bit easy, story wise, but I loved it tbh. It was a good watch to kill some time, and I loved the entire world behind it based on the books.

I’m not big on romance stuff so I’ll throw a curveball and say Codename: Kids Next Door between Numbah 3 and 4. Thought it was cute when I was a kid so nostalgia wins.
New Girl is a solid show with a good romance scheme as well but honestly my favorite romance of that show was Schmitt and Cece hands down (instead of the romance between the main two peeps). Might be my favorite serious answer to this question.
Slightly weird answer: have you seen the movie 'Sexy Beast'?
It's billed as a cockney gangster movie in the Guy Ritchie vein, with bad slags stealing filthy lucre, knowotimean. But, I actually believe it's one of the greatest love stories in cinema. The relationship between Ray Winstone and Amanda Redman is really beautiful - they will do anything to protect each other, and each makes the other a much better person, and all they want is to be together. Definitely recommend it if you haven't seen it.
For similar reasons, Holly Hunter and Delroy Lindo in 'A Life Less Ordinary'. It's an unusual rom-com (unusual in that it's a rom-com and it's quite good), and the stars are meant to Cameron Diaz and Ewan McGregor, but Holly Hunter steals the whole movie.
- Obviously Han Solo and Princess Leia.
- Deadpool and the chick from Firefly, that's a really sweet movie relationship.
- Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in 'Lethal Weapon'.
The one where two people fall in love and it doesn't seem fake.

I never thought I'd like watching Twilight until my wife started binging it on a Sunday and made me join her. I thought it was an excellent series, so there's my vote.
