Just my opinion, I may get it in 5-10 years but as of now I'm holding off. I personally have gotten 2 doses of the vaccine and will be getting my booster in about a month. I have nothing against people that aren't sure of getting the vaccine such as the post above. They just aren't sure of the medical implications of the vaccine and want to wait just to see. I personally don't like that thought process hahaha, but at least it's a logical response.

I have an opinion that vaccines in some countries are bogus, that's why they are getting Covid despite being vaccinated. In my country, Covid and death rates are reduced after vaccination, even if they get Covid they don't die if they are vaccinated. Have some examples in my family itself. But I completely understand the people who are avoiding vaccines and are skeptical.

Prior to the vaccines, whenever the cases rose, the deaths rose in-line with the cases. However, where I am, we literally hit record COVID-19 cases yesterday, yet our deaths are 6. 10k+ cases in my province, 6 deaths. Prior, it was 3.5k-4k cases, 100-200 deaths. Literal proof the vaccines work. EDIT: Percentages released (rough). Less than 5% of cases are resulting in hospitalizations, and of those 5% of the cases, 90% of them are unvaccinated. That means 4.5% of 5% are vaccinated. Those numbers may be off because it's 4:00 AM and I'm too lazy to look up the real numbers, but the real numbers tell the same story.

No one or any report ever made the claim that it was impossible to contract covid after taking a vaccine. It is simply there to mitigate the symptoms. You should be grateful for even getting it, by the sounds of it you wouldn't have held up without the antibodies.
I got ONE vaccine in June. Pfizer. I didn't have any significant side effects but I never got the second one and currently don't plan to.
I just don't understand why Pfizer has asked a judge to grant them 75 years before they are required to release all research findings from the vaccine approval.
If I have vaccines for measles, polio, meningitis and the rest, might as well get the covid one. I see why people don’t want to get it, but there are two main things that drive me crazy that people who don’t get the vaccine, don’t seem to see.
1. Yes the vaccine won’t fully Immunize you. But neither will HPV, meningitis, or polio. There are always breakthrough cases. Covid is so infectious that these immunizations will eventually work. In reducing the overall population as long as more people get vaccinated 2. Too many shots. I’m pretty sure other vaccinations are more than 3 doses. Plus influenza is every year. Why is this an argument to not get a vaccine? 3. People are still getting sick. Even if the point of the argument is that people are getting sick even with the shots. You have a 94% less chance of getting it. And even if you do it’s likely you won’t have a breakthrough case.
I haven’t got any jabs as of yet Me and the family had covid last year pretty bad.
Fast forward to Christmas just gone the full family has caught covid apart from me. Funny thing is, they’re all fully vaccinated and I’m still yet to have a jab but I somehow don’t catch it, you couldn’t make this shit up🙃 |
