I've just upgraded my pc a few days ago but i have some weird laggs in league of legends.
I've tried DayZ & CSGO. Non of those have any lagg spikes or problems what so ever. But in league of legends i have some huge lag spikes coming every 2-10 seconds.
Build
5800x
1070ti
32gb 3200mhz ram
1tb m2 ssd.
Try running MSI Afterburer/Riva on-screen displays to monitor your CPU/GPU usage in League. Can you see a spike in CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD usage during the lag spike? That helps narrow down where the issue may be.
My personal bet is GPU driver or memory settings in UEFI (Ryzen memory should be perfectly fine now, but first/second gens were rather particular about timings and voltages).

I've actually found out what the problem is for some weird reason.
When i uncap FPS it has lagg spikes but if i cap it at my hz, 144. There are no lagg spikes for some reason

is it playable with those lag spikes or no? Maybe its time to upgrade your gpu

Well if i should uprade its to a 3080 else its not worth the upgrade.

Spoke with another friend who had the same problem he has to cap it at 240fps because he got a 240hz monitor. If he uncaps it he gets lagg spikes aswell.

It's not worth upgrading to a 3080 right now. It's League. Wait for next gen GPUs unless you play other games that give you a reason.

Yeah programmargorp also told me nothing is worth upgrading to. Unless im rich and don't care anything below 3080 is a sidegrade.

Ended up picking up a 3080 today for $1400.

3090 is 3K euro here aswell hehe

Yea prices everywhere similar, but you cant find anything in stores to buy. Miners still doing bad things.
New radeons and intels gonna change things, ddr5 arrival and new ryzens
