Why wouldn't you report the vulns yourself and take the profit from the bug bounties instead of selling the vulns for others to profit off of?

Why wouldn't you report the vulns yourself and take the profit from the bug bounties instead of selling the vulns for others to profit off of?

I report some, but there are a lot of them that will give you bounty even tho there is no bug bounty program in place.
