I'm not sure if this is in the right place are not, but I need help Connecting a third-party domain to Shopify. So I bought an domain of 123-reg & when I try and connect it through third-party DNS Settings I keep getting an error message. Theses are the settings I have for the

(Hostname)
Shops.myshopify.com

(Type)
CNAME

(Destination CNAME)
Shopify IP Address
23.227.38.65

And when I click add I get
error!
DNS record not saved.

Can someone please tell me where I am going wrong please.

Try putting shops.myshopify.com instead of Shops.myshopify.com.

is you still have problems with this, if you will be doing CNAME under hostname put something like www then on the value, it should direct to shops.myshopify.com. if you want to connect your root domain, for example domain.com (without www) that's the time you will need to make an A record under hostname put "@" and 23.227.38.65 for the value

Ah I see thanks dude, I'll give it a try here and see if it works.
