Ever have someone answer the door naked before? 😆

What's the worst encounter you had on the job?

Always wondered if drivers were accused of lost/stolen parcels - how does one ensure safety?
What's the most packages you've delivered in a day?
Have you ever been bitten by a dog while doing a delivery?
Do you enjoy being an Amazon Delivery Driver or want to switch to another company?
How come whenever it says my package is delivered but has no image it never actually gets delivered and support needs to be contacted? Weird this just started happening recently.
Has anything ever... "fell off the truck?"
Why have you still not answered anyone's questions? Are you going to use that Ruby egg? Do you love Amazon?

Overall it hasn't been that bad. One of the worst was an old lady that crashed into me while I was parked and then blamed me for it. Also the time I backed up and murdered a trash can lmao.

Personally I just try to be as transparent as possible. I don't give Amazon a reason to think that I'm stealing. Stay on route, keep in view of the camera, etc.

Most packages was 367, also my most stops in a day was 192

When there's no picture, it usually means that your delivery was part of a group stop. Amazon will often group together deliveries that are supposedly "close" to each other. In reality some of these group stops will be two or three houses apart. Now the reason that there's no picture and no package at your door could be a few things. Either the driver delivered all the packages in the group stop to one of the stops instead of going to each individual stop, or it was delivered to you but someone came by and stole it. Could also be that the drive just stole it too lmao.

With all honesty I do my best not to damage the packages. While loading the van most of the large oversize packages get thrown just cuz they don't give us enough time to load so it gets done fast and dirty.

Lol never with me, but a few drivers have been caught for that. There was also a girl that straight up stole a money pouch from a business she was delivering to.

Lmao I posted it and went to do something else. Had no fucking clue it would get this many questions, I thought I'd come back to like two.

Don't think so, I haven't touched the games on here in ages.

In my experience this is kind of annoying. If Amazon's assumption/conclusion is that an item was stolen then they want you to file a police report before proceeding. Thanks for sharing, though, because as someone who frequently uses Amazon this type of explanation is helpful to paint a picture.

Oof. You hate to see it. I'm assuming they were all fired?

Yeah, it is pretty shitty on Amazon's side. We think that the group stops being like this is so Amazon can make the stop count look smaller (group stops count as one stop overall on the route sheet). It's causing so many problems internally and for the customers.

Hell yeah, my DSP is one of the ones that will drop you for shit like that.

Yeah basically. Everyone is treated like they're disposable, even the managers.

No they totally do. They encourage us to take them. However in reality we have no time to actually take our breaks without falling behind. Its always faster to just pee in a bottle unfortunately. Hell, even taking a lunch will fuck it up and you'll get in trouble for being slow.
Hey

Do they spy on you as much as people say while you are working? like have cameras in your delivery vehicle i heard that but wasnt sure.
