Robinhood has listed four new assets.
Compound (COMP)
Polygon (MATIC)
Shiba Inu (SHIB)
Solana (SOL)
Nothing wrong with taking a little ride up fellas.
For those unaware, Robinhood now lets you interact with your crypto. No longer is it a speculative asset in your portfolio until you sell. Now you can treat Robinhood wallet like other wallets, send crypto to other addresses, buy NFT's, etc
This is still considered a custodial wallet though, Robinhood controls the keys still.
Don't understand why people use Robinhood or even coinbase to store or buy crypto. They can hold.freeze your assets whenever they want and for whatever reason..They also track transfers,IP addresses and external wallets the cryptos are transferred ..and also report to feds

Not recommending holding there, but Robinhood is a suitable on-ramp now for people with bank accounts looking to get into crypto.
It brought a lot of exposure to personal investors who weren't already in crypto, but it did so in a really bad manner (You bought and sold speculative assets, you didn't hold them). Now they've improved their model, you can interact with your coins, send them off platform if you choose to. This creates another solid and easy to use on-ramp for people to enter the ecosystem.
This is good news this will bring more people to the crypto world, IDK when Robinhood will make their stand alone crypto exchange or app or something, maybe after they launch an NFT who knows ..
Never use Robbinthehood lol

Robinhood has been fine for me. Mainly use it for general stocks though. I'll purchase crypto on there but send it off to my wallet once I accumulate $2-3k worth. This shouldn't be a standard practice for robinhood, but any exchange you purchase through.
Their 5.25%APY and 3%IRA Match is great. If you work for yourself or family company as I do or if your company just doesn't match your IRA or 401k it's a good option to have. At the moment I don't have any bad experiences with them. They are FDIC assured and offer good benefits like I listed above. I just wouldn't hold crypto on there or any exchange.
