I've been a member since January of 2010. Over a decade on here. I've watched countless groups come and go and this one seems worth joining (for once).

I took a hiatus from HF for the last year, but overall, I'm known for my music production, alongside legendary threads in the Anime Adventures subsection.

Upon my return, I've noticed countless of you pinks in my section, and I'd like to join to see what the hype is truly about.

So, about me:

I'm an oldhead. Been here forever. Longer than most of this websites current userbase have had a computer, or in some cases, coherent thoughts.
I'm fluent in C#, C++, Python, BASH scripting, and php.

I work for a pretty prestigious company and handle linux systems administration related tasks at said company.

When I'm not coding, I'm building websites, graphic design, or making music (Mostly Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Trap, and Orchestral music for my side-project, but recently delved into the lofi hip hop scene and loving it.), I'm probably gaming my ass off. PC only. Console's for plebs.

Aight, well, since me claiming to have pegged Zexo didn't work... I've been an off-and-on member of this forum since 2008. I was most active between late 2009 and late 2012, especially when it came to groups. As time went on, my interests shifted and I moved on from the forum. I'd come back from time to time but it wasn't until this past year that my interest in being a part of this community really renewed. It took me a while to start trying to build any types of connections with people, mostly because I wasn't really sure where my life was headed. At this point though, I know I'm looking for some communities that I can dedicate some of my free time to.

One of my favorite aspects of HF back in the day was groups. Used to be a leader of a few groups. If you were around back then, you probably saw me being some arrogant shit at one point or another. Anyways, I won't lie, groups becoming a paid thing definitely soured my opinion of them for a long time. But, here I am now. I'd say my opinion has more or less changed. Joining Drip recently has helped push some goals in a professional sense to the front of my mind and I'm happy to be a part of the group, but Zexo's told me y'all are a pretty fun crowd and it'd be cool to have a laid back group to socialize with too.

I am a social scientist, one that focuses on the economics of developing countries and specializes in assessing shadow and hidden economies such as the North Korean shadow economy which is based on profits from their global criminal syndicates pushing drugs, weapons, and the facilitation of the transport of illicit goods.
