how can i stay anonymous

How do hackers stay anonymous when doing hacks say they're on kali and they're hacking a company or a school how can they remain anonymous?
proxychains, tor, mac address anonymization, limiting traffic sent to the server/computer, encrypting urself.
Use things like proxychains, VPN's and TOR but it all really depends on what you are doing hacking is not really a good term to use. What kind of hacking? Are you pentesting, brute force, using OSINT, it really just depends. Stick with proxy's and VPNS for now
So can you help me out regarding the commands used for IP rotation using a virtual server.

how would you go about mac addy anonymous? or encrypting urself
Proxy chains , encryption , traffic limiting and distribution etc....
the thing i dont get above using TOR is that every fucking site and vpn and all this block TOR, so how da faq are people even using that shit to actually commit some crimes

A good OPSEC train for accessing a website/http, at the bare minimum should be Encrypted boot OS > Isolate network and LAN adapters > virtualize Windows or Linux distro with xRDP > VPN > VPS/"RDP" > VPN/Residential IP > www
When threat actors are "hidden by TOR" it is likely resulting at the stage highlighted in purple. Often through TOR installed as a hidden service and routed via proxy/proxy software through home and out through TOR as a layer proxy.

It is very unlikely that someone is booting up ole Tor Browser and trying to card walmart's .onion site.

ok so setup vpn on host machine. then setup windows/linux virtual machine. add another vpn onto this virtual machine. then use this machine to access a remote desktop? am i understanding?

You can still use tor and put a residential vpn on top to unblock websites.
Just buy the vpn with monero.

VPNs: Even for usual browsing, hackers use secure VPNs which route your traffic through multiple locations.
No Bragging: I remember how back in the day hacking was all about staying low key. No one would knew that the guy next door is inside power grid of the city. But these days, so called hackers hack a small website with some tools available and the first thing they do is brag about it on social media. Wonder how they manage being anonymous!
Routing their Traffic: What hackers do is, they hack routers or internet access points. And then they route their own traffic through those hacked routers, sometimes through more than one routers. This way, it is difficult to catch the source as too many ISPs at various geo locations are involved in between.
Use Rented Infra: Hackers either hack or buy infra from cloud server providers like AWS/Azure etc. and use their resources to install their own tools there. And then using their IPs they hack other machines/websites/networks whatever they want.
Something cheap private and secure.
