I currently have a beard. I'm fairly young, but look even younger whenever I don't have a beard. I just feel naked without it at this point. I keep it groomed and neat though, and don't keep it too long.

I have stubble at the moment, I can grow a good beard but my wife doesn't like it - in my experience women usually have a strong opinion about beards one way or the other, either they love them or they hate them.

Shaving every day is a pain, maintaining a beard is a pain, so I just go somewhere in the middle.
