Well as things go more and more online. But which ones do you prefer? MMOs or the good old fashioned Mission based game.

Personally I love playing games with friends, doing stuff together but the i hate the part where MMOs like Dota 2 take a long ass time. And suppose if you get some urgent work in between. You cannot just pause, save and leave.

So i have a love hate relationship with MMOs, But only Love relationship with Offline.

My pick is Offline. And i have played many over the years but the last i played was Thief Simulator.. LMAO it was really awesome and i loved it. And i love FPS or Dragon Age or Hulk types games, Basically any combat/stealth based offline game i love.

To be completely honest, especially in the times like ours. Online games are also one of the places where you meet your friends which otherwise would not be possible say everyday or even twice or thrice a day.

But i have noticed as and when you start playing it regularly it sort of takes priorities over other things and you tend to loose out on that. As i personally had bad time controlling it so now i go the old fashioned way.

How is it for you, playing online does it hinder your IRL moments or get out of hand sometimes ?

I prefer MMOs, because of I like the fact that even though I could be doing the same thing (killing map for example), it doesn't have to be boring coz of new ppl I can play with.

Used to prefer MMOs until I realized how much I dislike other people being involved in my personal time. Single player games have so much more creative freedom too.

People have lives. We can schedule a time to physically get together once every 4-6 months. It's easier when we can waste an hour online playing together at this point. It does my head in, but it's a necessity. I miss those moments, but there's no way around it, at least in my situation.
