It took me a long time, and had to deposit 3 euros and spent a euro for a phone number, but I got the method working after a shit load of headache. I used Opera browser to do it.

To repeat you'd want to use the browser he recommended, you can likely also do so from different devices/IP although OP would know more than me on that.

I think next time I'll use a VPN in the Opera browser and try another SMS. I don't really like these methods because I suck at them, and they give me a headache.

What do you do if it asks you to confirm you are a real person by logging into facebook? I used Brave with geo location off, Talkatone, and Revolut and it's still asking me for fb verification.

Just put Google Pay as a payment method then switch back to your card. That’s what works for me anyways
