Has recession hit HF? Not sure, but Marketplace no longer feels active as it used to be before.

Do you feel the same?

Members have to spend their bytes to bump their thread but even then there looks to have no activity in the market.

I've gotten a fair share of traffic from HF, I can't speak for the past on HF although comparing to other forums it's about the same when 'averaging'. Bytes to bump shouldn't be seen as low activity rather a paid bump (same as stickies/sales tags/etc are implemented onsite)

I am not considering Bytes to bump as LQ.

But,
If you watch closely, in almost every thread, the last activity was at least 9-10 hours before. OPs had to bump them to keep it active.

That is why I feel concerned about the marketplace.

V3NDORs get access to automated contracts, there's no need to reply for them even in PM/Convo. For most UB3R/L33T/Regular sales that happen they are done via private contact (PM/Convo) as stated previously. There's no real use to reply to the thread other than to vouch for the service.

I think all it takes is 'Start Contract' button to be linked with full instruction to automated shops.

It's not about Truth or Lies.

It's about the curiosity members had back in time to make purchase here at HF only. They were more of a explorer of tech things.

Somehow, that curiosity looks to be dying.

I just started a test contract with you and opened another contract with a non-v3ndor member.

It is really different for V3ndors and Non-V3ndor groups.

V3ndors have exclusive templates for contract which looks to be the reason of why market looks dull. Now members could simply make their purchase without interacting. Now marketplace threads are more of a Pre-sales inquiry threads.

The entire forum is less active than it used to be. Forums are losing their userbase in general and it's summer. Of course the marketplace is gonna lose activity if the whole forum is as well.

Sorry, but HF ebooks have never been anything but "all time low" quality.
