The same reason why the other 8 people bought into it for the userbar mainly and don't get me started on group perks they're all a load of crap. They give you 10% of their own products and free access to some crappy tool they've made in Visual Studio and if you're super lucky you get a blow job of their Nan all for the low low price of $14.99 a month.

The real reason why most people buy into groups or crews isn't any of the above it's being part of a group for some clout on the forum and to improve the visual aspect of your profile. If you claim it's for anything else you're chatting bollocks.

Just my two cents, everyone's entitled to an opinion but I've yet to meet someone who bought into a group solely because of the "perks"
