Does anyone have this VR headset?
I'm very, very tempted to purchase one as it has some cool features like movie theaters, but I want to know some genuine experiences first ✌

I have one i like it a lot the only thing that gets me is the headset can get uncomfortable after a while but other than that its great. Love taking a fat bong rip then going into VR all fucked up. 🙂

Yep. Happy VR user here. Helps me exercise using Beat Saber and PC VR. It's pretty fun. Have owned one for more than a year now, and honestly no complaints. Then there's the power tripping games like Blade and Sorcery and SuperHot. Those are on another level. If you're in for one of the best VR experiences you can have, definitely also buy Half Life Alyx!

Can I just copy some questions I've asked on Reddit but pending approval?
Question 1: Battery life?
I saw on Google that it has 2-3 hours of battery life. What does that mean exactly? What if I want to play a game for 4-5 hours straight, do I have to charge it every 2-3 hours? Or is there a way to use VR with plugged charger (like laptops)?
Question 2: Is it complicated to set everything up?
Is setting up Oculus Quest 2 hard? I've watched a video where it says I need like 4 applications to game in VR and like one extra if I want to experience movie theater (SkyBoxVR). This all is kinda overwhelming to me so I'm a bit afraid to buy it just to end up not knowing what to do. Keep in mind I never in my life had a VR nor used it.
Question 3: Is 128GB enough storage?
I'm guessing this is like storage on a PC right? I'm kinda used to just deleting games when I'm done with them so I'm guessing the same principle applies to VR headsets too?
Question 4: Is my PC good enough?
CPU: i7-8700k clocked || GPU: GTX 1080ti OC version || 32GB RAM - I'm pretty sure it's good enough to run, but what kind of experience should I expect?
Question 5: Finally, is VR worth it?
Although price is not really that much of a problem for me, I'm still wondering if you guys think getting a VR is worth it? I would LOVE to experience it, but I don't know what to expect since I never had one in my life.

Answer 1: You can use PCVR with a cable (which I would definitely recommend) but your battery will still drain. Play time with the cable is similar to without the cable albeit maybe you get 20 minutes more time. Yes, you will need to charge the headset after 2 or 3 hours of play time, but I'll be amazed if you can stand up and play VR games for so long to begin with, especially Beat Saber. Good luck with that. After a while the thing will start to hurt and you will want to take a break. Alternatively, you can use Air LINK and stream your PC to your headset using WiFi and charge your headset while using it, which gives you indefinite playtime.
Answer 2: Setting up your VR headset is not difficult at all, but then again I'm a programmer so techy stuff isn't difficult for me. You just install the Oculus app and you're set. You will also need to install SteamVR for Steam titles.
Answer 3: Yes, especially if you're going to be playing PC VR, at which point you will rely on your PC storage and not your Quest storage. Quest games look like shit when compared to PC VR titles, just a heads up.
Answer 4: Your GPU and CPU might need upgrades but it depends on which games you're going to play and at which refresh rate and resolution. Don't expect to run the top tier PCVR titles at top quality though.
Question 5: Yes, VR is worth it, for me personally. I don't know about you, but the only way to figure that out is by trying it.

Thanks for the answers brother!
Did you try Skybox VR or any other movie-streaming VR app? Not gonna lie, a big reason for buying VR is movie streaming so I'm just wondering if you've tried that and how was the experience
EDIT: What CPU and GPU would you recommend? Off-topic sorry.

I tried BigScreen, which works absolutely fine. It's like sitting in a home theater, with endless customizations. A world within a world, so to speak.
I would recommend a top-tier CPU like the AMD 5900X and a GPU like RX 6900 XT, but that's if you want to play everything at MAX settings. I have this combination and can play all games without worry. But if you're just going to use SkyBox, I think your specs are going to be just fine.
