Studying computer networks and systems (and coding) at university. No problem at all asking!

I'm at the first year, loving it.
I have five courses per semester, those five being: communication in english, math, digital systems, computer architecture and organization and algorithms and programming techniques.
I'm more excited for the next semester because I will have three courses that really caught my attention, computer networks, operating systems and security in information networks

Is computer organization taught in C and a lot of Linux related content? Curious how other universities strucutr courses.

And is algorithms a lot of data structures and Alg. Content with Java?

I edited the previous thread with more info.

Computer organization is based on teaching us about hardware and software (basic concepts, buses, notion of peripherals, communication ports), processors, memories, hard drives... and after all of that we will be studying representation of information (binary representation of integers, bases 8 and 16, ascii and unicode).

Algorithms will teach us algorithms definition and representation, programming concepts (designing a program, implementation of a program, compilers and interpreters, programming languages), structured programming (types of data variables and constants, operators and expressions, instructions flow control, sub-algorithms, indexed variables) and more.

We will be studying 3 main languages in both courses, Java, C# and Python.
Next year we will have more of C# and Python and we will start working with web development (HTML5 and CSS3, PHP and MySQL)
