Hello everybody!


Here's to hoping everyone had a fantastic Halloween and is doing well at the time of reading this post!

I just thought I'd create a new thread as I have yet to see any topics, and/or discussion on HF about
the Update that was recently released by Jagex to Old School RuneScape, as well as RuneScape 3.

As of a few weeks ago a new feature or game mode was released! More info below;

FRESH START WORLDS (OSRS)
These are brand new world's within OSRS, and RuneScape 3 where the economy is BRAND NEW, and
requires building from the ground up by all those who choose to participate in the FSW's.

Everyone who chooses to take part starts a brand new, fresh account in which through leveling,
completing various tasks and what not oneself has the opportunity to earn Achievement Points; now i'm
currently not too sure what the main function of these AP will be, but hopefully some different functionality
will be added to them afterwards as currently they are just a new feature to work towards gaining while
playing in FSW (A breakdown of how to earn points, and point denominations can be found in-game or
on the news post released by Jagex for this specific Update.

So, I guess this will be a thread to discuss Free Start Worlds on OSRS! (May create a separate topic for RS3 FSWs)

Post your proggies, achievements, and goals for FSWs below! I'm interested to see what paths and new options
people decide to take, and/or use.

I am currently training Woodcutting myself, and am level: 43

Wasn't that what OSRS was itself though? You had to re-build your account from scratch with a fresh economy. Wouldn't bots eventually take over the economy here in 3-4 years as well? If this works out decently I might consider getting back in, but damn I don't want to grind those quests and levels again.

I don't play myself, but I'm pretty sure after a certain amount of time the worlds merge into the OSRS worlds.

How does it feel like? Is it active, do you see more people around the starter areas? Bots?

Right now is a good feel, i got myself a bond but i dont think i'm gonna stick with those fresh start server, i'm not dedicated on RS as i was years ago.
I have to say that a bond is well spent just to feel the "aura" of nostalgia.
After that i have at least one 99 more that i want achieve on my main, so i'm trying to focus there :)
Botting ofc is present almost the same as the main game cause you can earn lot of cash swapping golds, expecially the first 3 days, insane rates...

I did some digging and found out these worlds are worth it since they allow the account to join the main game again. Look at these bonuses.
Spoiler (Click to View) -edit- was told exp rate boost is only for RS3. Ironman Mode is not available in Fresh Start Worlds. Clans are available, but Clan Citadels are not. The Luma wolf pet is awarded for registering and playing for the first time. Fresh Start Worlds feature increased experience rates, in-game buffs, a separate Grand Exchange economy, and rewards that can be transferred to another account at the end of the event, including ironman mode accounts. Fresh Start Worlds characters cannot return to the Fresh Start Worlds event once they are transferred to the main game. The majority of rewards from Fresh Start Worlds will be available again in the future.
