Announcement

We are excited to announce the formation of The Gold Standard, a group of dedicated individuals who have set the standard for excellence in their respective fields. Our group is invite-only and focuses on various forms of expression including writing, music, graphics, videography, poetry, debating, and more.

Our goal is to provide a platform for our members to showcase their talents and share their work with the community. Our members will use their experience and skills in their areas of expertise to share knowledge and various guides to the Hackforums community. These guides will be designed to help others improve their skills in these areas and learn new techniques.

In addition, The Gold Standard will continue the volunteer project of Writ3rs, the HackForums News, which is a thread posted bi-weekly that covers important forum announcements, statistics, notable awards, and user achievements, various spotlights and showcases, and other notable external news revolving tech and such. We will also feature the work of our artists, writers, and musicians. This will be a great way for members to stay informed and up-to-date with the latest happenings on the forum. More details to follow regarding this!

Member Expectations

As members of The Gold Standard, we have high expectations for our members in terms of activity and participation. We expect our members to be actively involved in the group, contributing to our monthly showcases and events, and participating in the discussions and activities within the group. We also expect our members to be dedicated to improving their skills and learning new techniques through our guides and tutorials. Additionally, we expect our members to be respectful and professional in their interactions with other members of the group and the Hackforums community as a whole.

To ensure that our members meet these expectations, we have set certain activity requirements. These may include regular participation in group discussions and events, regular contributions to our monthly showcases, and consistent engagement with the group's resources and materials. Failure to meet these requirements may result in removal from the group. However, we will also provide support and resources to help members meet these requirements and maintain their active status within the group.

We also plan to engage with the community by hosting giveaways and events that will be open to all members of Hackforums. Additionally, we will foster a positive and supportive environment within the group, where members can share their ideas and collaborate to improve their skills. We will also take feedback from our members and the community to ensure that we are always improving and providing the best experience possible.

We believe that by consistently providing high-quality content, resources, and support, we will become the top group on Hackforums. We are dedicated to this goal and will work tirelessly to achieve it.

We are proud to be a part of the Hackforums community and look forward to contributing to its growth and development through our talents and skills.

We are The Gold Standard.

Looks like a secret society

It's like the illuminati, just without the sex trafficking.

[Cap]

Best of luck with the group man. Rebrand looks great and I’m excited to see what you guys bring to the forum.

[Nostre]

I'm not gonna lie, I've been waiting for a group like this for quite a while now. A group focused on giving back to the community as a whole and overall focused on quality, but with the whole latin/exclusive aspect it has. I absolutely love the "Optimis Optimus" you have at the end of the thread, great meaning behind two simple words. Curious how many people noticed that.

I would love a shot in this group, am very excited to see what comes from it and would love to be a part of it. 🤎

You're the first person I've noticed that's pointed it out. Optimis Optimus is "The best of the best" in Latin. Well done.
