I’m sure most of you don’t want to read that weed causes emphysema and learning impediments this morning, but good morning! Here, it is!
Apparently lawmakers are being forced to reconsider decisions once made after marijuana is proving to be less safe.
I’m sure Cuthbert is going to have a ball with this one.

Alcohol is terrible for us, but that’s legal: so, whatever.
Well this is simply not just a marijuana issue but a smoking issue in general. I see no evidence to suggest this happens with edible form.
Marijuana has its place especially for medical reasons plain and simple, and I would like to see safe natural edibles as well as pill/capsule form to be more common for medical uses.
As for the people who choose to smoke it, that is a risk they have to be willing to take just like cigarette and cigar smokers.
That‘s a smoking issue in general lol
Well Duh, use responsibly. That is why I don't use it at all
This is big pharma trying to make marijuana seem deadly. Of course if you smoke irresponsibly or mix drugs and smoke cigarettes it’s going to damage you. If you use THC and CBD for medicinal purposes and do it responsibly, it’s not as harmful as they make it seem.
Emerging from the Shadows…
The term 'well no sh!t' comes to mind. Inhaling something that isn't oxygen damages the lungs. Sh*t no way.
Drops exist, and shouldn't affect medicine. Almost as if too much of something is bad for you, regulation is key.

Cuthbert really is about to enjoy this one lolol
I remember after HS in 2014, I smoked too much and ended up getting " Cannaboid Hyperemesis Syndrome "
I would wake up feeling like shit, Smoke some for any kind of relief ( didnt know it caused that at the time )
It was a cycle of being sick throwing up, sweats, etc smoking to try to feel better but making it worse each time
Finally went to the ER and learned its possible weed makes you sick. Was told to quit for atleast a month, but
I just quit for a week and been back at it since
So I can see where its becoming a problem for some
Well it's as expected, people keep messing and messing with weed it's bound to go wrong at some point.
I don’t consume any drugs at this point but use to indulge in everything from psychedelics to heroin and fentanyl. I would have to say marijuana is the clear winner, although when you smoke anything there are risks (obviously) so if you fall into this category of side effects or have a thought of Impending doom from smoking just eat a edible. Lol
I strongly disagree with this article's suggestion that cannabis use is associated with negative health effects. In fact, there is a growing body of evidence from many studies showing that cannabis can have a number of health benefits, including reducing symptoms of chronic pain and inflammation, improving sleep, and even reducing the risk of certain types of cancer. This article does not take into account the potential benefits of cannabis, which should be considered before making any definitive conclusions about its safety.

You see no evidence of marijuana causing severe psychosis? You obviously haven't looked very far, have you? Look at you trying to beguile the gullible masses with talk of medicinal use, even alcohol has medicinal usages. The medicinal usages of marijuana are scant, the largest medipot trial in the UK was a complete failure. Most people don't want pot legalised for medical usages and you know it.
You cannot seriously be suggesting legalising smoking was a good thing for society? Introducing another poison while the evidence is suggesting it's unsafe is growing stronger is imbecility of the highest order. You're always so quick to defend marijuana (poorly), got an interest?

Here's some inconvenient history about marijuana's popularisation in Mexico.
Alcohol being legal doesn't excuse introducing another preventable poison.

On the contrary, the evidence for medical usages are pissweak and a clear red-herring to push for recreational legalisation.
"The evidence GRADE was very low. Pharmaceutical THC (with or without CBD) worsened negative symptoms of psychosis in a single study (SMD 0·36 [95% CI 0·10 to 0·62]; n=24). Pharmaceutical THC (with or without CBD) did not significantly affect any other primary outcomes for the mental disorders examined but did increase the number of people who had adverse events (OR 1·99 [95% CI 1·20 to 3·29]; ten studies; n=1495) and withdrawals due to adverse events (2·78 [1·59 to 4·86]; 11 studies; n=1621) compared with placebo across all mental disorders examined."
"There is scarce evidence to suggest that cannabinoids improve depressive disorders and symptoms, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, Tourette syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, or psychosis. There is very low quality evidence that pharmaceutical THC (with or without CBD) leads to a small improvement in symptoms of anxiety among individuals with other medical conditions. There remains insufficient evidence to provide guidance on the use of cannabinoids for treating mental disorders within a regulatory framework. Further high-quality studies directly examining the effect of cannabinoids on treating mental disorders are needed."

Marijuana isn't just, "smoking anything," it's a uniquely potent psychotropic strongly correlated with severe mental illness.

More simple-minded drivel from a non-thinking pothead. Is "regulation" the key to black tar heroin and coke, too? Get it through your numb skull, marijuana is a dangerous drug, there's no safe way to use it for its psychotropic effects. https://www.thelancet.com/article/S2215-...3/fulltext https://www.irishtimes.com/news/health/c...-1.4554489

This is Big Dope trying to make cannabis sound harmless. Who funds Big Dope might you ask? It's Mr. and Mrs. Small, i.e. you and every other pothead that demands it. Potheads always bring up the alleged medicinal effects when it's obviously a push for blanket legalisation. Your propaganda is wearing thin, more and more people are waking up to it, and I can only hope dopeheads are persecuted for their blatant criminal activity once again.

Cuthbert! Beautiful, the way you put this is. I’ve been waiting for this response. Cold, hard evidence beats stoned-hypothesis everyday!

I did not even mention psychosis.
I did not even mention legalizing marijuana, I did however mention in which ways I would like it to be used in regards to medical (keep in mind it is already LEGAL in many places).
Nice try though.

It doesn't matter that you didn't mention it, it's one of the side effects of marijuana use. Its alleged medical usages are a joke, you fall for propganda too easily. The article clearly isn't insinuating those who allegedly use it medicinally are the sole problem either. Nice try at trying to make marijuana sound healthy, Keith Stroup would be proud of you. Wait for the, "I'm not saying it's healthy, one has to use in moderation, blah, blah." Your tripe won't fool me, you better try harder than this if you're to convince me, pothead. It shouldn't be legal in many places because it's an extreme danger to the general public.
